There are advantages and disadvantages to training at an indoor gun range. Moving drills are prohibited and the shooter must be fixed inside the stall. Additionally, drawing from the holster is prohibited. Any training class listed at an indoor gun range requires 3-day advanced notice to the range owner in order to reserve a lane. Advantages are climate-controlled environment and more flexibility in scheduling courses.
Student is responsible for any range fees, signing waivers, and presenting ID.
As should be expected, outdoor gun ranges expose you to the elements. You are subject to rain, heat & humidity, and cold weather. The only time a class would be cancelled/rescheduled is due to severe thunderstorms &/or steady rain. It is the student's responsibility to wear weather appropriate clothing, bringing the proper amount of hydration, sunscreen, & bug spray. The outdoor range Active Solutions-Training has access to offers the ability to draw from the holster and conduct moving-&-shooting drills.
Have access to rural farm? Active Solutions-Training can bring the training course to you. Requirements are: Within 30 miles of Downtown Cincinnati, must be equipped with a berm or other method to stop projectiles.
